PP/PE VN @ 135 deg. C

Some polymers are so hard to dissolve, that the test work needs to be carried out at an elevated temperature. For this purpose, PSLRheotek has designed a high temperature version of the RPV-1 Automated Polymer Viscometer. The dedicated design of this instrument ensures, that the polymer solution is held at an elevated temperature at all times.

  • Two positions PP/PE viscometer

    The PSL Rheotek RPV-1 (2) HT – two position PP/PE viscometer is specially adapted for measuring polyethylenes (PE) and polypropylenes (PP) at 135 °C. Suitable for low, medium and high density samples.
    The RPV-1 HT is designed to be integrated with the (hyperlink) SP-1 or SP-1/HD Sample Preparation system for polymers.
    Other options include SD-1 Polymer reaction block and RSS Smart Sampler.

  • Two positions Auto PP/PE polymer system PSL-Rheotek

    RPV-1 (2) AutoPP/PE

    The PSL Rheotek RPV-1 (2) AutoPP – two position PP/PE viscometer is specially adapted for measuring polyethylenes (PE) and polypropylenes (PP) at 135 °C. Suitable for low and medium density samples.

    Auto systems fully integrate sample preparation, sample dissolution & sample loading, as well as flow time measurement, cleaning and reporting of results. One or two heating and stirring zones can be configured to control the dissolution of batches of samples. Both heating temperatures and stirring times are computer controlled and samples are automatically loaded into the viscometer. Typical sample throughput is 6 to 8 samples per hour with two measuring positions.
